ScopeTalk privacy policy
Last updated October 29, 2026
ScopeTalk helps restoration companies scope jobs by voice. A company signs up, adds its people, and they use the iPhone app and website to record rooms, photos and notes on their jobs. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address and name, so you can sign in and your company can see who did the work.
- What you record and type about a job: voice recordings, the text made from them, notes, rooms and line items.
- Job details you enter, such as the customer's name and the job's address.
- Photos you take in the app, with the time and, if you allow location, where they were taken.
- Room scans, if your company turns scanning on: the room's outline, size, doors and windows. We keep the measurements, not camera video.
- When you last used the app, so your company's owner can see who is active.
How we use it
- To turn what you say into a draft scope for your company's estimator, and to show your company its jobs.
- To sign you in and to email invites and sign-in codes.
- We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase stores the data and handles sign-in. Vercel runs the website and app server.
- Deepgram turns voice recordings into text. Anthropic (Claude) turns that text into line items.
- Google Places helps look up job addresses. Resend sends our emails.
- They process data only to provide these services to us.
Who can see it
- Your company's data is only visible to people your company has added. Other companies can't see it.
- Your company's owner can pause your access at any time; your past work stays on the company's jobs.
Keeping and deleting data
- Job data belongs to your company and is kept while the company uses ScopeTalk.
- To delete your account or your company's data, email support@scopetalk.app. We'll confirm and delete it within 30 days.
